New Dollar Store Offers TV For $1

How would you like a new TV for a just a dollar?  That's the deal being offered Thursday in Roseville.  The promotion is in celebration of the opening of a new Dollar Castle Store on 13 Mile Road at Little Mack. 

The store will offer Haier LED 19" TVs to the first 10 people in line when the store opens at 9 a.m. 

Mort Meisner - with Mort Meisner Associates, says tells WWJ Newsradio 950, they don't expect any problems.

"We have really never had [any problems] -- with the many times we've ever done this, it's always been very, very orderly," Meisner said.

"What we always do, is a day in advance, we always let local law enforcement know what's going on," he said.

When the TV's are gone, the next 100 people in line with get a coffee maker for a buck.  On Friday, the stores will offer $1 space heaters and slow cookers.
