Tata U.S. Auto Engineering Job Fair Draws 225 In First Day

Tata Technologies, a provider of engineering services outsourcing and other auto engineering services, reported that more than 225 applicants responded on day one of the company's two-day Career Open House at the Hilton Garden Inn in Southfield.

Tata Technologies is seeking more than 400 automotive engineering, design and Product Lifecycle Managent consulting professionals to fill U.S.-based positions beginning in early January 2011. Day two of the event was Friday, December 10, from noon to 6 p.m.

Tata Technologies HR and Recruiting professionals were joined at the event by Engineering Group management representatives to screen, interview, qualify and, in some cases, test candidates on-site to expedite the process of fill these open positions. Attendees should bring copies of their resumes and summaries of their background and project experience.

The company has open positions for automotive engineers with experience in body, interior, trim, chassis, body-in-white, vehicle integration, computer-aided engineering noise, vibration and harshness, CAE durability, CAE crash, electrical and embedded, materials, tooling, quality and other disciplines. Positions for PLM professionals with experience in Teamcenter Engineering, Teamcenter Manufacturing, Inventor, Autocad and Enovia also are available. SAP, Java, .Net, DBA and Oracle professionals also are sought. Necessary software experience: CATIA, UG NX, IDEAS, Alias, Partran, and other leading industry software suites.
