Boil Water Alert Lifted In St. Clair Shores

Good news for the residents of Saint Clair Shores.  The boil water alert that was issued on Friday is now lifted. 

Saint Clair Shores City Manager Ben Hughes tells WWJ that the alert was issued because of extremely low water pressure.

Hughes says when water pressure gets below state guidelines they are required to test and make sure that no contaminants entered into the system. He says those measures were taken and everything came back fine.
