A 5-year old boy is killed — and two other family members are in critical condition — following a Sunday head on collision in Bridgewater Township, in Washtenaw County.

The Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened on Michigan Avenue when a family of three from Indiana was driving in a van that lost control — and drove into an oncoming truck.

Investigators believe icy road conditions may have caused the wreck.
