More Records Unveiled In Oakland County Child Killings
Family members of a victim in the serial killings of children in Oakland County during the 1970's is saying some newly released documents confirm their beliefs about the alleged murderer.
It was more than 3 decades ago that Barry King's 11-year-old son, Tim, was brutally murdered, but no one was ever arrested. Now, with the release of State Police investigative records, King tells the Detroit News he is now convinced that Christopher Busch, a known pedophile, was responsible for the death.
The reports were released by the courts, but so far, authorities have not commented, only saying it remains an active investigation.
The Kings have also asked the court to order the Oakland County Prosecutors Office to release its files on the case. Ironically, King says the money used to cover legal expenses are funds that were set aside for Tim's college education.
