Power Outages In Macomb, Oakland Counties

More than 45-hundred homes in Macomb and Oakland Counties were without power Saturday morning as a result of a downed line.

A DTE Energy outage map shows approximately 3,500 customers out near Ryan Road and 11 Mile.  Crews were working to restring a downed wire.   Restoration was expected around 11 a.m.

In Oakland County, about 900 homes and businesses were without power near Squirrel  Road and Walton Blvd just north of Oakland University. 

A smaller outage is reported near Adams and Big Beaver roads in Troy. It’s unclear when power will be restored.
