Auto Show 'Press Preview' Gives Insider Glimpse
All eyes on Detroit tomorrow as we see the latest that the auto industry has to offer. Press Preview Days begin tomorrow at the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center.
So who will win the car of the year award? WWJ Auto Beat Reporter Jeff Gilbert has his predictions.
"The Chevy Volt has won a number of other awards, I'd be surprised if it didn't win the car of the year award, up against the Nissan Leaf, and the Hyundi Sonato, but when you've got a groundbreaking vehicle like the Volt, I honestly can't see it not winning." Gilbert reported live on WWJ.
Porsche, which dropped out three years ago from the show, returns this year. And Nissan says it will return to the North American International Auto Show next year. They dropped out two years ago to save money.
