AimWest to Talk Reaching the Digitally Disenfranchised: AimWest, the organization for interactive professionals in the Grand Rapids area, will hold a program on “Reaching the Digitally Disenfranchised” on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Valley State University Eberhard Center in downtown Grand Rapids. The discussion will include dealing with employees/staff that do not embrace or leverage today’s technologies; how the digital divide contributes to a wider gap between the rich and poor; bridging the divide between digital advances a corporation needs, and senior management’s ability to understand and/or fund those advancements; and determining whether to continue traditional marketing and customer support methods or leave the digitally disenfranchised behind.
