Covisint Wins Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange Business: Detroit-based Covisint, a Compuware (Nasdaq: CPWR) company,  announced that it has won new business from Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange (NEPA HIE) by enabling the first non-provider-based HIE in Pennsylvania with clinical messaging support. Now, with Covisint ExchangeLink, NEPA HIE physicians will receive the clinical and administrative information they need at the point of care, securely and efficiently. NEPA HIE promotes value-based care delivery to Northeastern Pennsylvania, serving the interests of providers, patients and payers across the region. It chose Covisint because it wanted to drive quick adoption of healthcare technology that would help member physicians deliver better care more efficiently and effectively. NEPA HIE also chose Covisint's industry hardened platform-as-a-service, Covisint ExchangeLink for Healthcare, because it wanted to reduce the complexity of technology adoption and minimize workflow disruption while also allowing for future growth across the exchange.
