LSU has confirmed that Les Miles will return for his seventh season at the school. LSU released the following statement, “I am pleased to announce that Les Miles will remain the head coach at LSU. Les has led this program to many great successes on the field and his players represent LSU well off the field. We look forward to many great years of LSU football under his leadership.”

Michigan AD David Brandon went to meet with Miles in Baton Rouge on Monday night. It is unclear if Brandon offered the job to Miles. Les Miles is 62-17 at LSU since he started coaching there in 2005.
