TIGERS AGREE TO TERMS ON TWO-YEAR DEAL WITH RYAN RABURN

The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with outfielder Ryan Raburn, thus avoiding arbitration.

Raburn batted .280 (104x371) with 54 runs scored, 25 doubles, a triple, 15 home runs and 62 RBI in 113 games with the Tigers in 2010. He established career highs with 54 runs scored, 104 hits, 25 doubles and 62 RBI during the season. In 70 games following the all-star break, Raburn hit .315 (79x251) with 13 home runs and 46 RBI.

In 226 games with the Tigers over the last two seasons, Raburn has combined to hit .285 (180x632) with 98 runs scored, 36 doubles, three triples, 31 home runs and 107 RBI.

Raburn is batting .274 (269x981) with 156 runs scored, 59 doubles, six triples, 39 home runs and 155 RBI in 379 games in five seasons at the major league level with the Tigers (2004, 2007-10).
