Stolen Auto Show ‘Beemer’ Found

The hottest car tied to this year’s North American International Auto Show, a stolen BMW,  has been found.

Yes, they have found the luxury Beemer. Police in Detroit have discovered the $140,000 – 7 Series BMW with New Jersey plates that was stolen this week as it was in town to transport BMW executives during press week for the auto show.

Police say they received a tip Friday morning that the car was parked in front of an apartment complex on Fletcher Street on the city’s west side.

It’s unclear if the car was damaged.  Police have no suspects in the case.

I’m sure it wasn’t a suburbanite who needed a ride. Shouldn’t that car have an ejection seat? Something to think about.
