Southwest Michigan First to honor Catalysts for Success: Southwest Michigan First will honor companies for their commitment to the spirit of job creation and community investment in the Kalamazoo Region in 2010 with their annual Catalyst Awards. The awards will be given during Catalyst University, Southwest Michigan First’s graduate-level leadership event, on Thursday, Jan. 20 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo. This year’s winners will be presented at the event scheduled to be attended by almost 450 attendees representing the region’s community, business, industry and government leaders. Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech. Southwest Michigan First is honoring these 10 companies and its Community Partner of the Year, Bronson Healthcare Group, for partnering in the announcement of over 1,700 jobs in Southwest Michigan Winners are     Bell’s Brewery Inc., Benteler Automotive Industries, Grand Elk Railroad, Landscape Forms, Lynx Network Group LLC, Micro Machine Co., Parker Aerospace Hydraulic Systems Division, OneWest Bank, Seneca Medical Supply and Team Support Services.
