Police are looking for two thieves who held-up a Gamestop trying to stealing a Playstation-3 video game system.  It happened on Monday at the Gamestop store on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights.

According to investigators, one of the suspects handed the manager a note, saying he was desperate. The manager told the suspect “you’ll have to shoot me” to get the Playstation.  The suspect then revealed a portion of an unknown object, which was described as possibly being a small semiautomatic handgun.

The manager called police, and the two ran from the scene.  They did not get the Playstation.

Suspect number one is described as a white male, mid-20’s, 5’8, medium build, brown hair, light brown scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a light and dark blue plaid print hooded jacket and light blue jeans.

The second suspect is a white male, 45-50 years old, 5’10, medium build, brown hair, light brown goatee. He was wearing a dark blue Chevy racing cap, yellow sunglasses and a green jacket with a brown collar.

The pair fled the scene in an early 2000’s white Chrysler/Dodge minivan with the rear windows tinted.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Sterling Heights Police.
