We Need A New Cat's Meow

Before it gets messy with a bunch of "calling the kettle black" comments, let me first say that actress Anne Hathaway is very attractive. That being said, I think she's wrong for the role of Catwoman in the next installment of the Batman series.

The way I see it, we as moviegoers deserve some eye candy here. In the first flick, Katie Holmes showed up only to be replaced in the second flick by the far less attractive Maggie Gyllenhaal. She's fine mind you, but she's no Katie Holmes. Plus, it's not as if we saw a whole lot of Mrs. Cruise anyway, so the casting was a bit of a throwaway. Still, the role was much more prominent in the sequel and we were stuck watching a giant puppy dog on the big screen.

I'm just saying that by having the "Catwoman" brand out there, we're gonna see a lot of her, so she'd better be worth ogling. So I will put myself in the casting seat and give my better 3 selections over Anne Hathaway for Catwoman.

First, Kate Beckinsale; she's flat out beautiful and has already looked spectacular in action flicks donning tight leather outfits. Add a couple of meows for good measure and I have no problem answering the late night calls outside my window to let her in. B., Jessica Alba; the former Dark Angel should get back to her roots of being this ridiculously hot chick who kicks ass. Plus, I think she can pull off the alter ego thing with a true sweetness quality that contrasts greatly to the Special Guest Villainess role. Lastly, Mila Kunis; I haven't seen the Black Swan, but I've seen clips of the Black Swan if you know what I mean. She's not afraid to get down and dirty and she's ultra sexy to boot. She sported her action chops in Max Payne and I'm pretty sure this kitten's got some claws, so why not.

Alas, this is a futile debate seeing how the role has already been cast, but we can still dream!
