DETROIT (WWJ) Detroit Police have found three people dead inside a home on the city’s eastside. Officers responded to the home on Faircrest Street, Friday night after reports of gunfire.
A police spokeswoman says officers arrived to find three men in their 20s shot to death.
Police say the home also contained several pit bulls. Detroit Police Chief Ralph Godbee spoke with Fox 2 Detroit and had this to say about the case; “If it’s what we believe it is, it’s a closable case. Possibly three dog fighting locations, which brings about a different type of crowd a different type of risk, involving that type of lifestyle.”
Autopsies are being performed on the three men. Police removed eleven dogs from the home. The dogs were taken to animal shelters.
