Snack Food Recalled In Michigan, Ohio

(Bluffton, Ind-AP) A northeastern Indiana snack maker is recalling packages of Better Made Corn Pops because the packaging doesn't indicate the presence of milk in the product.

Pretzels Inc. of Bluffton, Indiana, says the eight-ounce packages of Corn Pops were distributed to stores in Michigan and Ohio.  The company says no illnesses have been reported but people with allergies to milk run the risk of serious and even life-threatening reactions.

The product has an expiration date of MAR1411. Consumers may return them to stores where they were purchased for a full refund.

Pretzels Inc. blames the problem on what it calls a "temporary breakdown of the company's production and packaging processes."
