Fraser-based AIM Computer Solutions, a provider of enterprise resource planning software to small and medium-sized auto suppliers, and Farmington Hills-based TM Group Inc., one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics value-added resellers in the Detroit area, said they have recently won multiple new account engagements among suppliers.

“The combination of a powerful Microsoft financial offering in tandem with our proven automotive supplier software from AIM has attracted attention, and helped us win several new accounts over the last year,” says Jerry Czernel, vice president of operations at AIM. “There are great cumulative values in teaming together in a common service delivery model for our automotive supplier accounts that bring additional benefits to the end user. On one hand, our suppliers can benefit from the in depth automotive expertise AIM provides, and add benefits from the local, regional and global operations of a Microsoft partner like the TM Group.”

Added Ken Jacobsen of the TM Group: “An automotive solution from AIM and The TM Group represents the best of both worlds with the option of having the software installed on premise or as a hosted solution. Customers get the benefits of best-in-class financials with Microsoft Dynamics GP and auto specific functionality from AIM. We’re excited about the wins from last year, and the 2011 pipeline looks better than ever.”

Michigan-based AIM has grown into the leader for a complete software system for small to medium sized automotive suppliers. AIM Vision provides a single source for automotive EDI integration into production scheduling complete with demand smoothing to accommodate work schedules, machine repair and refurbish, and other scheduling considerations. Frozen demands are then used to generate MRP and CRP reports, fully synchronized with Tier 1 and transportation customer requirements. Other capabilities include outside processing, lot control, finite scheduling, and two levels of tool/workstation scheduling logic, barcode label generation and significant use of operator friendly edit and validation aids. Complete integration into Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics SL, SQL and new SharePoint technologies extends the AIM Vision solution throughout the supply chain.
