Client Wins From January 25

Covisint Wins Long-Term Business: The Covisint subsidiary of Detroit-based Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR), announced that the Greater Tulsa Health Access Network has selected Covisint to build Greater THAN's health information exchange. The Covisint-powered HIE will improve care delivery by increasing access to information at the point of care and by providing the secure infrastructure enabling doctors, hospitals and patients to communicate and share health information.  Local research indicates that Oklahoma has among the fewest number of physicians per capita and that Oklahoma is the only state to have experienced a worsening age-adjusted death rate for the past 15 years. Fragmentation of the health care delivery system and resulting communications breakdowns are often cited as reasons for the poor access to care. Greater THAN, formed by more than 50 healthcare delivery stakeholders, will use Covisint ExchangeLink to improve health outcomes and information access while also increasing technology adoption and reducing waste through a community-wide HIE. Recently, Greater THAN received one of only 17 Beacon Grants awarded nationwide by the Office of the National Coordinator. The Beacon program is funded by the HITECH portion of the 2009 Federal stimulus legislation, which provides funds to modernize and streamline healthcare delivery. More a twww.covisint.com.
