Chauncey Billups was the staple of the Detroit Pistons for the time he was here. The Pistons got stale and making the Conference Finals wasn’t good enough for the fans or the team so Chauncey was dealt for the great Allen Iverson and his expiring contract. Billups was dealt just days after Rip Hamilton was given a nice healthy extension that now has him being paid 12.6 million for this year and the following two. Rip hasn’t played in the last nine games for the Pistons. Billups talked about the situation after the Nuggets win over the Pistons at the Palace Wednesday night. Take a listen to the audio of Billups below.
