Deadly Accident Shuts Down Lodge Freeway

Detroit (WWJ) – A deadly accident shut down the Lodge Freeway for several hours overnight.

Michigan State Police say a 23-year-old man from Beverly Hills was killed in the crash, which appears to be the result of excessive speed and wintry road conditions. Investigators say the victim’s car was split into two pieces.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
