Want A Quick Fix? Report A Pothole

DETROIT (WWJ) - The harsh winter has taken its toll on metro Detroit roads, and some patch-up work is on the way.

As WWJ's John Bailey reports, the freeze-thaw cycle has made the potholes on southeast Michigan roads even more evident, but some of the most pockmarked roads are due for permanent repairs.

Mound Road in Sterling Heights, Dequindre in Shelby Township and Rochester Hills, and Haggerty Road in Livonia and Northville Township rank high on MDOT's list to fix.

Know of a really bad spot? You can hasten the short-term fix by calling MDOT's pothole hotline at 888-296-4546.

You can also report a pothole online at michigan.gov/mdot.
