DETROIT (WWJ) Michigan State Police are searching for a person they say has been shooting at cars along a stretch of I-696 in Oakland County the past few days.

Michigan State Police say two suspected bullets are being analyzed at the crime lab right now.

Police have  received several reports of vehicles being fired upon near the Coolidge overpass in Oak Park.

No one has been injured in the incidents but so far three drivers tell police they were the victims of someone’s gunplay.

State Police Detective Sgt. David Robertson says in all three cases, the drivers didn’t know they’d been shot at until they found the bullets.

The latest shooting took place on Sunday evening. Earlier attacks were on January 12 and 15.

If you have any information regarding these incidents you are asked to call state police at (248) 584- 5740.
