Police To Provide Update On Missing Morenci Brothers

MORENCI (WWJ) – The police chief in Morenci plans a news conference today to discuss efforts to locate three boys missing since Thanksgiving. Chief Larry Weeks will provide an update on the investigation and, what he calls “a shift in the investigative focus.”

Nine-year-old Andrew, seven-year-old Alexander and five-year-old Tanner Skelton were last seen at their father’s home in Morenci along the Michigan-Ohio state line.

In court last week for a hearing, John Skelton was asked whether he was prepared to turn over the boys. He said he couldn’t do that.
