DSO Strike Nears 4 Month Mark
DETROIT (WWJ) Officials on the executive committee of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra met Wednesday as the strike by musicians pushes toward the four-month mark.
Officials released few details of the meeting, except to say they reviewed the symphony's deteriorating finances and the effect of the ongoing strike.
They agreed on a framework for a deal that will be presented to the musicians this week and want a response by February 11.
The musicians walked off the job in October, after the Symphony demanded steep pay cuts.
