DETROIT (WWJ/AP) The Detroit Red Wings had no offense against Columbus, losing to the  Blue Jackets 3-0 in Detroit Friday night.

The Wings scored seven goals against Ottawa on Wednesday, and that would be the last goals we would see, running out of goal making plays against the Blue Jackets Friday.

Steve Mason made 34 saves for his 17th career shutout to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-0 win over the Wings.

It was Mason’s second shutout of the season and third against Detroit.
