Man Robbed While Shoveling Snow

Detroit police are looking for two men who robbed a man who was shoveling snow.

The 25-year old victim said he was shoveling on the 16000 block of Inverness around 11:10 p.m. Thursday when the two suspects, one armed with a handgun, forced him into his house.  The two crooks took an unknown amount of money, Nike Air Force 1 shoes, an X-Box game console, cell phone and alarm clock before fleeing.

Police describe the suspects as 18 years old and weighing about 150 pounds.  They were wearing black Carhart jackets and black pants.  The gunman was wearing Timberland boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit’s 10th Precinct at 596-1040.
