Wings Defeated By Predators, 3-0

NASHVILLE (WWJ/AP) – A disappointing repeat performance for the Detroit Red Wings as they lose 3-0, Saturday night to the Predators in Nashville.

Including a 3-0 home loss to Columbus on Friday, the Red Wings have been shut out in consecutive games.

Sergei Kostitsyn scored twice and captain Shea Weber added a goal for Nashville, which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Again, the offensive line failed to take care of business in the scoreless game against Nashville. Detroit goalie Joey MacDonald defending 29 shots on goal during the night.

Rinne was stellar in earning his third shutout of the season and 17th of his NHL career. After turning aside six Detroit shots in the first, he saw 12 shots in the second and 17 in the third.
