Ski Resorts Can’t Get Enough Snow

BRIGHTON (WWJ) It’s not just kids who look forward to snow,  it’s ski resorts as well.

That includes Mt. Brighton Ski Resort, where Operations Manager Robert Bruhn says they’ve seen an upswing in the number of skier visits this year, compared to last year.

Bruhn says it helps when kids have snow days: “Normally the parents are against it, saying, ‘”no snow, no snow,” and the kids are praying for snow. It’s good to see, we are seeing a lot of the families coming out now, with smiles on their faces because the conditions are great and it’s been perfect weather,” Bruhn says.
“Last week just about everybody had school off on Wednesday, so it was a good day for us, we love to see the school days,” Bruhn adds.

Bruhn says as they get more snow, they expect to see more people visit the resort.
