Event Notices From February 8

Registration Opens For Merit Member Conference: Early bird registration is now open for the 2011 Merit Member Conference, to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 18 and 19, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Ann Arbor. Don't miss this important learning and networking event, now in its 13th year. Complete information and registration are available at www.merit.edu/mmc. This year attendees from Merit Member organizations are invited to bring a colleague to the conference for no additional registration fee. When you register for the conference at the Early Bird or regular price you will be sent a discount code that will enable a second person to register for free through April 30. This offer is available only to attendees from current Merit Member organizations and will remain available through April 30 or while capacity permits. The free registration may be redeemed by a colleague from your own organization or by anyone who is interested in technology and learning more about the Merit Community. This feature is made possible by the contributions of the Merit Community Supporters program. Merit is also offering the same registration price of the past three conferences. You can register today at a special Early Bird price of $159, a savings of $30 off the regular member price. The Early Bird price is available until March 1. After that date, registration will be $189 for Merit member organizations and $229 for non-members. There will also be pricing options for attending on the individual days of the conference. Also, the Merit Member Conference is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and experience and to help others learn about your organization's experiences implementing new technologies. Please submit a proposal to present at the conference, now through March 1. Read more and submit your proposal at
