The Carmelo Anthony trade rumors are heating up again, reports say Knicks owner Jim Dolan has no contacted the Nuggets himself to try and lure Melo to the Big Apple. ESPN reports that the Lakers are in early talks with the Nuggets about sending Andrew Bynum to Denver for Anthony.

Forget about Michael Young coming to Detroit, The Fort Worth Star Telegram says the disgruntled Texas DH has told the team he has an 8 team trade list. The list includes both L.A. teams, the Twins and Yankees; the Tigers were not on that list. Dave Dombrowski tells that the Tigers are set with whom they have right now anyway.

No Valtteri Filppula for the Red Wings tomorrow night at home against Nashville. The forward tweaked his knee last night and Ken Holland says he will not be available tomorrow. Wings hoping that Thomas Holmstrom will return against the Preds, he says he plans on returning.
