Detroit's Stray Dogs: Video Goes Viral

It's starts with the quote: "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored."

A video that highlights Detroit's problem with stray dogs is getting tens of thousands of hits on YouTube.  Detroit Rapper Hush and California producer Monica Martino put up the video they shot on their cellphones after the city shot down their Discovery Channel series about Detroit's stray dogs.  The pair is using the video to raise money for a new "no kill" dog shelter in the city.

The video ends with a call on viewers to email Detroit Mayor Dave Bing or donate to help tackle the problem. After four days online, the video has drawn more than 50,000 hits and a load of donations. The producers claim the video has raised $7,000 so far.
