Is Deal To Buy Pistons Imminent?
While the Pistons were losing to the San Antonio Spurs last night at the Palace -- a suitor for ownership of the team was watching.
Beverly Hills businessman, and Flint native Tom Gores, was at the Palace, as the 30 day window to negotiate a deal is due to expire soon.
WWJ's Rhonda Moss was covering the game and saw something strange happen once people realized Gores -- who's been in talks to possibly buy the team -- was there.
"I bee-lined it right to the suite; the suite was in section 125," Rhonda said. Once in the suite, Rhonda questioned Pistons' owner Karen Davidson on whether a deal was imminent. "I have no comment, but ... he's family," Davidson responded.
Gores' net worth is estimated at around $2 billion.
