Freedom Celebrations In Dearborn

DEARBORN (WWJ) – About 200 Arab-Americans rallied outside Dearborn City Hall today. They cheered the end of Hosni Mubarak’s rule over Egypt and pledged to support the African country as it goes through what could be a painful rebuilding process
Waving Egyptian flags and yelling “freedom,” they celebrated this afternoon as passing motorists honked horns in support.

People celebrated in Dearborn and read how one former University of Michigan-Dearborn student stands in the middle of the history making movement. Click on here for more on that story.
