Small Plane Crashes: Pilot Walks Away

 TRENTON (WWJ) – There’s been a small plane crash in Trenton.  It’s a  plane that had a banner on the back , according to Dan Mexico, who was at work at the time.

WWJ’s Beth Fisher spoke with Mexico who witnessed  the event: “We were working out behind our business in Trenton, and we noticed that a private plane towing an advertisement banner struggling to fly, then he cut his banner loose and we realized, oh man, this fellow’s in trouble, he made a large sweep left and starting heading north and crashed near the steel plant in Trenton,” said Mexico.

The plane went down in the West Jefferson area near the Trenton -Wyandotte border. 

Trenton Police say the pilot walked away from the crash, which is under investigation.
