DETROIT (WWJ) - Good news at the pumps across Metro Detroit. Patrick DeHaan with Gas-Buddy.com says gas prices have sloped below $3.10 per gallon, down about six cents in the last week.
“Prices have been moving a little bit lower in response to the unrest in Egypt slowly resolving itself. We’ve seen oil prices that peaked at about $92 dollars a barrel when things had gotten ugly over in Egypt, now prices have relaxed, oil currently trading about $85 dollars,” DeHaan says.
But DeHaan says don’t get too excited- he expects prices to rise back up at the end of April, just in time for summer.
