“My father spread messages of love, hope, unity and peace through his music and it is our family’s responsibility and mission to bring his vision to a new generation,” said Rohan Marley, Bob’s son, on behalf of the family. “Whatever our family is involved in has to have some sort of consciousness that is true to our heritage and values. Music is such an important part of our lives and is how millions of people, just like my father and siblings, express their personal style and beliefs. The House of Marley audio products make perfect sense and are created with a focus on mother earth and exceptional sound that our family and our father would be proud to call our own.”

Attendees at Magic will be jammin’ with special performances from Julian “Ju Ju” Marley on-stage in Townsquare at Project at 5 p.m. Feb. 14, presented by The House of Marley. Julian is a Grammy award nominated, roots-reggae musician, singer-songwriter, producer and humanitarian. His latest album, Awake, features a set of hypnotic beats and soulful vocals inspired by life and spirituality incorporating the roots-reggae sound that Julian has made his own. Awake infuses street-energy hip-hop, bubbling dancehall, and a smooth combination of R&B and reggae. Julian co-produced Awake with his brothers, Stephen Marley and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. At The House of Marley booth at Street Unlimited, special jam sessions will take place Feb. 14, 15 and 16 with the next generation of Marley family musicians — Bob’s grandchildren.

“Fashion trends come and go, but the message of Bob Marley and his family’s music is timeless and we’re thrilled to carry his legacy forward with The House of Marley,” said Alon Kaufman, CEOof the House of Marley. “Today’s consumer wears their personal audio gear just like they wear clothing. The House of Marley lets a new generation of ‘young gongs’ satisfy their soul with headphones and other stylish, eco-conscious lifestyle accessories that deliver premium sound quality and incredible design with a purpose.”

Four guiding principles are central to turning Bob’s ideals into actions and his principles into products at The House of Marley: superior quality, cause minded, sustainably sourced and waste conscious.

Superior quality: Bob was a master at his craft and The House of Marley aims for the same excellence in everything it creates. Using reggae music as the test by which all Marley products are made, bass is the driving force in every product. That doesn’t mean we’ve neglected the highs either. Marley products aim for authenticity and you can hear it in every instrument and vocal. Marley products are made to withstand even the most active lifestyle and to emulate Bob — timeless.

Cause minded: A portion of proceeds will benefit 1Love.org, a not-for-profit business created with the Marley family to create awareness and a sustainable flow of contributions to benefit 1Love.org-supported charities that empower youth, protect our planet and encourage global peace. Sustainably sourced: The House of Marley’s goal is to create high-quality products in the most ethical and environmentally positive way. Marley audio products are made with Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood, the highest standard for wood and forest products, and use recycled and recyclable aluminums and plastics. The House of Marley is continuously searching for the highest-quality, lowest environmentally impactful materials the world has to offer.

Waste conscious: The House of Marley creates eco-conscious products that aim to be sustainable, renewable and recyclable. But one thing it’s not about creating is waste. Each Marley product is packaged using pulp or recycled and recyclable material, so it can avoid the waste stream and manifest into something useful again. In addition, Marley earbuds and headphones come with storage bags made from natural fibers, such as cotton and hemp.
