Ann Arbor NEF gives awards at gala: The Ann Arbor New Enterprise Forum announced two award recipients in advance of its 25th anniversary gala, to be held Thursday, Feb. 17. Farnam Jahanian, founder of Arbor Networks, has been named the 2010 NEF Entrepreneur of the Year. Dick Sarns and Tom Porter, long time Ann Arbor entrepreneurs, will receive NEF lifetime achievement and leadership awards respectively. Both men have made significant contributions to the local business community, with statewide, national and international impact. NEF will also announce the 2010 winners for Best Technology, Best Business Model and Best Presentation.
