Fatal Bike Crash On Dixie Hwy.

MONROE (WWJ) - A 50-year old Monroe bicyclist has died after he was hit by a car while riding along Dixie Highway. Police say the victim was riding on the road just after 11 p.m. when the accident occured.

The man, was not immediatly identified, was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo, where he died shortly after arrival.

The driver of the vehicle was questioned and released. There were several witnesses who dialed 911.
