Craigslist Ad Reportedly Leads To Murder
HAZEL PARK (WWJ) - Hazel Park Police are on the hunt for a killer. The victim -- a young man, looking to buy a cell phone. Investigators say the 19-year-old Hazel Park resident was shot Tuesday night on Crossley Street, where he had arranged to purchase a cell phone. We're told he posted something on Craigslist -- and was shot and robbed by someone who was responding to the ad.
Police -- responding to a 911 call -- found the 19-year-old on the ground. He died at Beaumont Hospital. Anyone with information should call Hazel Park Police or Crimestoppers.
