More Snow Coming Overnight

Southfield (WWJ) - There's more snow on the way. AccuWeather and the National Weather Service are predicting three to six inches of snow overnight Thursday, into Friday morning.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Southeast Michigan, in effect 2 a.m. through 11 a.m., Friday.

Thursday, many freeways were already wet and slush and some surface streets were snow-covered and slippery.

The morning commute in Metro Detroit was slow after an inch of snow fell overnight.  Freezing rain also fell creating slick roads.  WWJ listeners reported speeds on some roads were down to 20-25 miles per hour.  Salt trucks were on the roads.
