ESD Job Fair Adds More Employers

The list of companies recruiting at the Engineering Society of Detroit's Job Fair on Monday has risen to 40, which increases the total number of jobs available to 2,500 -- all in Michigan. 

The event runs from 2 to 7 p.m. a the Suburban Collection Showplace, formerly the Rock Financial Showplace, in Novi.

In addition to Chrysler and General Motors, the growing list of companies includes: Yazaki North America; Trialon Corporation; GE Aviation; DASI Solutions; Terumo Cardiovascular Systems; American Axle and Manufacturing; ALTe, LLC; Dow Corning; Durr Systems; Patrick Energy Services; and many others. Available jobs are in various fields of engineering, including software engineering, as well as patent; environmental; IT; accounting; industrial sales and finance.

The Engineering Society of Detroit Job Fair is the premier recruiting events for those seeking full or part-time positions, or even internship opportunities. Students graduating this spring from Michigan universities are being encouraged to polish their resumes and attend this job fair for the opportunity to meet with high-level recruiters, land their dream job and stay right here in Michigan.

For the first time ever, ESD members can attend the job fair free of charge. Non-members pay only $15, which includes a one-year membership to ESD. Attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of their updated résumé and to take advantage of ESD's Job Bank by entering their résumé free of charge.
