Police Find Man's Body In Rouge Park
DETROIT (WWJ) - Is it a case of murder or suicide? Detroit Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body found in Rouge Park.
Police got a call around 5:30 that a body was in the wooded area of the park. Police found the body, along with a handgun near the body.
Fox 2 News spoke with a man identified as Steve, who made the disturbing discovery while looking for deer antlers: "It's flooded down there, there is a lot of water, there is thick brush," says Steve, who found the man's body while walking in the woods.
Detroit Police Sgt. Erin Stephens tells WWJ, they'll have more information once the medical examiner performs an autopsy.
