The Center for Michigan, Detroit Public Television and MiVote.org are inviting the public to a series of “common-sense conversation” events on Gov. Rick Snyder’s budget proposal this spring.

Each event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on the dates below:

* March 23 at Macomb Community College South Campus in Warren
* March 30 at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor
* April 6 at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn
* April 20 at Detroit Public Television in Wixom

Many of Gov. Snyder’s proposals were suggested by citizens¬†in community meetings held all across the state by The Center for Michigan.

Through Michigan’s Defining Moment public engagement campaign — the largest in Michigan’s history — The Center for Michigan gathered the views of 10,000 Michigan citizens into a Common Ground Agenda for Michigan’s future. (Details can be found by clicking on Echoes of Community Conversations.)
