Former Boxer Charged With Assault On Ex-Girlfriend
LAS VEGAS (WWJ) - Former boxing great Floyd Mayweather born in Grand Rapids is due to appear in court in May on charges of hitting and threatening his ex-girlfriend.
A judge Thursday agreed to postpone Mayweather's hearing stemming from his arrest last September.
Mayweather's ex-girlfriend says the boxer stole her cellphone and also threatened their two children during an argument.
He has a court appearance in April on a separate charge of poking a security guard in the face.
