MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) - Old Man Winter once again has his eye on Metro Detroit.  The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Macomb County from 11 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday.  Up to five inches of snow is predicted for the eastern part of Macomb County.

The National Weather Service says roads will become snow covered overnight, making travel hazardous and affecting the Friday morning commute. Snowfall may be intense at times with visibilities reduced below one mile late Thursday night into Friday.

Two inches of snowfall is predicted for an area stretching along a line from Detroit to eastern Oakland County and Lapeer.  AccuWeather says the western suburbs may not see any accumulation.
