Former DPS Driver Indicted For Theft
DETROIT (WWJ) - A truck driver who used to work for Detroit Public schools has been indicted in federal court of stealing as much as $70,000 dollars worth of computer equipment from the district.
Authorities say Robert C. Williams used his work issued key card in 2005 to gain access to a district warehouse to cart off a pallet load of equipment on a DPS truck in the middle of the night.
The whereabouts of Williams is not known.
