Monday Means It's National Potato Chip Day
DETROIT (WWJ) - It's one of those celebrations that many haven't heard of, but should have a special resonance here in metro Detroit. Monday is National Potato Chip Day. Sam Cipriano is the owner of Better Made Potato Chips, which is made right here in Detroit.
Better Made Potato Chips just celebrated their 80th anniversary. Small bag or big you can take part in the celebration, too.
"It's just a celebration of the chips. And it's founder Krumm, from Saratogo, New York. And it's a fun thing. Too bad it falls in the midst of Lent though because we could all go out and buy a big bag of chips and just splurge on it," Cipriano says.
