Reward Offered In Pharmacy Robbery

MILFORD (WWJ) - Police are looking for the public's help to catch a theif who robbed Milford Sav-Mor Pharmacy.

The Milford Police Department and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects for the crime that occurred the morning of Feburary 14 at the store on North Milford Road.

Police said a man entered the pharmacy through the front door, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded prescription medicines.  He then escaped out the front door with the drugs.
 
The suspect is described as a white male, 5'6"- 5'7" tall, approximately 150 pounds and thought to be in his twenties.  He wore sunglasses, a powder blue winter hat, blue scarf with red and green specks, jeans, tan work boots, a black glove on his left hand and a clear glove on his right hand. 

Police said the suspect fled the area in a burgundy or red late model Ford Taurus.
