$201 Million Up For Grabs In Mega Millions Jackpot

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has reached gigantic proportions. The jackpot in Friday night’s drawing is worth a staggering $201 million!

According to Michigan Lottery officials, if a player wins Friday night’s jackpot and chooses the annuity payment option, he or she will receive $7.7 million per year for 26 years, less taxes. That breaks down to $644,230.77 per month; $148,668.64 per week; or $21,180.19 per day.

If a winner prefers the prize in one payment, the estimated lump sum cash value of the jackpot is $128.3 million, less taxes.

Michigan’s last Mega Millions jackpot winner was the P1 Go Lottery Club. The club won $46.5 million in the February 1st drawing. Their winning ticket was purchased at the Meijer store in Belleville.

Players can purchase Mega Millions tickets up to 10:45 p.m. Friday night for the 11 p.m. drawing.
